Sebastian Scott is responsible for some of television’s most-watched shows, from Shark Week to The Restaurant – if you’ve never seen one of Sebastian’s shows, it probably means you don’t own a TV (while at Princess Productions, which he founded, he was responsible for over 800 hours of the stuff each year). Now, the super-producer is taking on new challenges, working on projects for Snapchat, News UK and Discovery – and when he’s not, find him lounging on the Italian island of Ponza or on Harbour Island’s Bahamian pink sands, pressing reset.

What is your favourite place to holiday in summer?

Ponza, in Italy.

Where do you stay when you’re there?

Hôtel Chiaia di Luna – the sunsets from the cliff top bar are epic. Below, there is a bar shaped like a giant pineapple.

And the best meal?

There’s a magical restaurant on a hillside – only open at lunchtime – where they grow all their own food, make all the wine and speak no English.

What’s your best – or most memorable – holiday purchase?

I never buy anything on holiday! It loses its shine once you’re home.

What’s your go-to flying outfit?

James Perse hoodie, James Perse T-shirt, Scotch & Soda chinos and Common Projects sneakers.

Tell us your last three duty-free purchases...

Duty free is for losers.

Do you have a routine to beat jet lag? What is it?

Don’t eat on the flight – knock yourself out and go straight to sleep.

What’s your favourite beach in the world – and what’s in your beach bag?

Pink Sand Beach on Harbour Island in the Bahamas is hard to beat. Beach bag: flip-flops, sunnies and very low factor sun cream.

Dream rental car?

Fiat 500, with a roll-back roof. I love them.

Where should we go for a digital detox?

Myanmar – it used to be impossible to get signal.
